Fine gold and micro-jewelry that other VLF machines miss at 61 kHz still register here, thanks to E.U.D. extra-depth processing and four dedicated search modes.
The Gold Kruzer runs at a high 61 kHz, a frequency chosen specifically for small, low-conductivity targets — fine gold grains and tiny jewelry that lower frequencies routinely miss. It's built to work old, previously-hunted ground again, and holds up in difficult soil and hot-rock areas without the sealed, waterproof housing giving up.
Iron gets filtered out while gold gets through, thanks to strong discrimination and target separation. The E.U.D. (Extra Underground Depth) function, four search modes, wireless audio, and USB firmware updates round out a detector built specifically for serious gold prospecting.
Key Features
Excellent Target Discrimination
Iron trash gets filtered out of the signal, so you're digging fewer worthless targets and more actual gold.
Unmatched Depth
Fine gold grains and micro-jewelry buried deep enough to fool lower-frequency detectors still register here.
4 Search Modes
General covers all metals, while Fast, Boost, and Micro adjust response speed and sensitivity for different nugget sizes.
E.U.D. Feature
Pushes past hot rocks and standard depth limits to flag tiny grains that would otherwise go unnoticed.
Wireless Audio
2.4 GHz wireless headphones are included, though note they aren't waterproof like the control housing.
Battery
The built-in lithium-polymer cell runs up to 19 hours before it needs a recharge.
Firmware Updates
Plug into a computer over USB to install the latest firmware as Nokta releases updates.
IP68 Waterproof
Fully submersible to 5 metres (16.4 ft) with complete protection against dust, so wading a creek bed is no risk to the electronics.

Who Should Use the Nokta Gold Kruzer?
Gold nugget prospecting
The 61 kHz frequency and E.U.D. function together target the small, faint signals typical of gold nuggets in the ground.
Micro-jewelry recovery
High-frequency sensitivity picks up thin chains and small rings that lower-frequency general-purpose detectors can miss.
Detecting in hard ground and hot-rock conditions
Strong discrimination and the E.U.D. function help it keep reading accurately where hot rocks confuse other VLF machines.
Re-hunting previously searched ground
Extra depth from the E.U.D. function can turn up targets sitting below what a previous pass over the same ground actually reached.
