Gold Mode narrows the detector's attention to gold signals and quiets the unrelated noise, while Detect-All Mode opens things back up to cover every metal type for general searching. A 3500-meter forward scan range extends how far ahead you can read the ground before you even walk it, and the expandable IC125 coil opens out to 127 cm when you want wider coverage on open terrain.
