Where Intrepid gets you started, Voyager is built to go further with you — it arrives as a full kit with a backpack, digging trowel, and headphones already inside the box, so there's no separate shopping trip before your first outing.

The coil steps up to an 11x8.5-inch Double-D design, larger and more capable across varied ground than Intrepid's 10-inch concentric coil, and interference cancellation now runs automatically rather than not being available at all. Four search modes — General, Custom, Jewelry, and Learn — cover more situations than a beginner detector usually offers, and Learn mode stands out: pass a sample piece of metal over the coil and the detector tunes itself to recognize similar targets afterward.

A large target-ID display reads the full 0 to 99 scale on a backlit screen that stays readable into the evening, and two included 9V batteries mean it's ready to switch on immediately.
