Top of the 60-series lineup, the Vanquish 560 trades the 460's V10X coil for the larger V12X, adds a fourth Iron Bias level and two more target tones, and still runs up to 10 hours on Bluetooth LE audio and full 5-meter IP68 waterproofing.
The 560 sits above the 460 in Minelab's 60-series mainly because of what's on the end of the shaft: a 12×9 in V12X coil instead of the smaller V10X, built for wider coverage and better depth within the same automatic Multi-IQ package. Everything underneath still runs on simultaneous multi-frequency detection, adjusting to ground and target type without manual input.
Four Iron Bias levels — one more than the 460 — and 5 target tones give sharper control over how ferrous trash and genuine targets get separated, backed by 30 discrimination segments and 10 sensitivity levels. A vibrating handle adds a second signal channel for loud environments, and wired headphones are included alongside Bluetooth LE audio support.
It's fully waterproof to 5 meters (IP68), weighs 1.26 kg, and runs up to 10 hours on its internal battery between magnetic USB-C charges. A red LED display with a built-in flashlight keeps it usable after dark, and Minelab lists coins, jewelry, relics, and gold among what it's built to detect.
Key Features
Multi-IQ technology
reads several frequencies simultaneously, so performance stays consistent as you move across different ground.
V12X coil
the 12×9 in Double-D design covers more ground per sweep than the smaller coils used on the 360 and 460.
30 discrimination segments and 4 iron-bias levels
the finest sorting control in the Vanquish range for telling targets from trash.
5 target tones
lets you judge target type by ear before you even glance at the screen.
Fully waterproof IP68
the entire unit tolerates submersion to 5 meters, not just splashes.
Bluetooth LE (LC3) wireless audio
keeps wireless headphone sound tightly in sync with what the coil detects.
Battery lasting up to 10 hours
covers a full day of detecting between magnetic USB-C charges.
PARK Mode
tuned for the trash-heavy ground typical of parks and other busy public spaces.
FIELD Mode
balances depth against discrimination for farmland and older archaeological sites.
BEACH Mode
works wet or dry sand, helped by the full 5-meter waterproof rating.
User Profile
stores your own settings so you're not rebuilding a setup every outing.
