Go Find 44 moves up again with a third mode built for jewelry and coins, a Pinpoint setting, a 10-inch coil for wider coverage, and Bluetooth to the free GO-FIND app — the point in the range where a serious beginner outgrows a toy-like feature set.
By the time you've worked through an 11 or a 22, Go Find 44 is where Minelab expects the range to catch up with you. It adds a third search mode dedicated to jewelry and coins, plus a genuine Pinpoint mode for narrowing down a target's exact position before the shovel comes out.
The coil grows to 10 inches, covering more ground per sweep than the 8-inch coils on the 11 and 22, and Bluetooth 4.0 connects to the free GO-FIND app for wireless listening, coin identification, and logging finds on a map. Treasure View backs all of this up with five LEDs that flash red for iron and nails, green for coins and jewelry — a fast visual check before you dig.
Sensitivity now runs to 4 levels and audio to 3 tones (low, medium, high), both finer than what the 22 offers, and the whole unit still weighs just 1.06 kg with the same folding design that makes the range easy to carry.
Key Features
3 search modes
All Metal, Jewelry & Coins, and Iron Reject give more ways to filter a site than the two-mode entry models.
Pinpoint mode
Narrows in on a target's exact spot so you dig a smaller hole and recover it faster.
10-inch coil
Bigger than the 8-inch coils on the 11 and 22, so each sweep covers more ground and reaches a bit deeper.
Treasure View — 5 LEDs
Five lights flash red for iron and nails, green for coins and jewelry, for a quick read before digging.
3 audio tones
Low for iron, medium for low-value metals, high for precious metals — one more tone than the 22 offers.
4 sensitivity levels
An extra level over the 22, for finer tuning across different ground types.
Bluetooth 4.0
Connects wirelessly to the free companion app for cable-free listening.
GO-FIND app
Identifies coins and logs where you found them on a Google Maps view of the site.
Backlit display
Stays readable at dusk or in low light, unlike the entry-level models' plain screen.
Automatic Easy-Trak
Ground balance adjusts on its own with no manual setup required.

Who Should Use the Minelab Go Find 44?
Serious beginners who want more performance than the Go Find 11 or 22
Pinpoint mode and a third search mode give more capability than the entry models without the learning curve of a professional detector.
Searching for jewelry and gold rings in gardens and on beaches
The dedicated Jewelry & Coins mode is tuned specifically to flag rings and similar targets other modes might discriminate against.
Families who want more features for outings and camping trips
Bluetooth audio and the free app add a game-like layer that keeps camping trips and family outings interesting for longer.
Anyone who wants automatic find-logging on a map via the app
The GO-FIND app pins every find to a Google Maps location automatically, so you can revisit a productive spot later.
